Requirement and guidance for submitting papers

FEMS sponsored meeting – FEMS grants

We are pleased to announce that ICY15 meets ICYGMB 30 is selected by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) to offer grants for congress participation for Early Career Researchers*.

Eligibility

To apply for this grant, you would need to meet following requirements:

  • be a member of a FEMS Member Society** or be recommended by such a member,
  • be an Early Career Scientist*,
  • be an Active Microbiologist,
  • be presenting author at the ICY15 meets ICYGMB30 congress (oral or poster).

FEMS grant

  • The amount of the FEMS Early Career Researcher Scholarship is equal to the amount of the registration fee.
  • The deadline for FEMS grant application is July 15, 2021.
  • Abstract submission and registration for the conference have to be finished by application for a FEMS grant.
  • The applicant must register early and pay the participation fee at early booking conditions in order to be considered for FEMS grant application.
  • The results of the evaluation for FEMS grant applications will be communicated by July 31, 2021 to each grant winner.
  • The grant will be refunded right after the ICY15 meets ICYGMB30 congress takes place.

Please submit a completed Meeting-Organizer-Grant-ECS-Form to icy15@boku.ac.at.
NOTE: Only fully completed forms can be accepted for grant evaluation!

* These are active microbiologists who obtained the highest academic degree – Bachelor, Master or PhD – less than five years prior to the application deadline date, or are a Master or PhD student.
