Requirement and guidance for submitting papers

FEMS sponsored meeting – FEMS grants

We are pleased to announce that ICY15 is selected by the Federation of European Microbiological Societies (FEMS) to offer grants for congress participation for Early Career Researchers*.

Eligibility

To apply for thitis grant, you would need to meet following requirements:

  • be a member of a FEMS Member Society** or be recommended by such a member,
  • be an Early Career Scientist*,
  • be an Active Microbiologist,
  • be presenting author at the ICY15 congress (oral or poster).

FEMS grant

  • The amount of FEMS Early Career Researcher grant is at minimum EUR 250.
  • The deadline for FEMS grant application is April 30, 2020.
  • Abstract submission and registration for the conference have to be finished by application for a FEMS grant.
  • The applicant must register early and pay the participation fee at early booking conditions in order to be considered for FEMS grant application.
  • The results of the evaluation for FEMS grant applications will be communicated by May 5,  2020 to each grant winner.
  • The grant will be refunded directly at the ICY15 congress venue.

Please submit a completed Meeting-Organizer-Grant-ECS-Form to icy15@boku.ac.at.
NOTE: Only fully completed forms can be accepted for grant evaluation!

* These are active microbiologists who obtained the highest academic degree – Bachelor, Master or PhD – less than five years prior to the application deadline date, or are a Master or PhD student.
